Sagan

Carl Edward Sagan (November 9, 1934 – December 20, 1996) was an American astronomer, astrophysicist,cosmologist, author, science popularizer, and science communicator in space and natural sciences. During his lifetime, he published more than 600 scientific papers and popular articles and was author, co-author, or editor of more than 20 books. In his works, he advocated scientifically skeptical inquiry and the scientific method, pioneered exobiology and promoted the Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence (SETI).

Sagan became world-famous for his popular science books and for the award-winning 1980 television series Cosmos: A Personal Voyage, which he narrated and co-wrote. The book Cosmos was published to accompany the series. Sagan wrote the novel Contact, the basis for a 1997 film of the same name.

What if the world fell into a nuclear war and the United States government fell apart? And then, each city became its own nation, so we would be part of the Confederation of Boston or something, and we had to fight the Republic of New York. I feel like we would win. Boston is an awesome city, so much better than New York.

Bruins are starting their season tomorrow against the Flyers. I bet they'll win. I'm going to watch the game. I started getting into hockey last year during the playoffs, like everyone else. Unlike everyone else, I'm not just part of the bandwagon. I find the sport very interesting now that I've seen what it's all about.

I wonder if this is a long enough blog post...

I could not be more bored at the moment. I wish I owneda pink suit, like a full on pink tux or something. That'd be nice.

I checked out a history text book yesterday but I didn;t use it. I just read about stuff 'cause I'm cool like that. I wish I knew how to play soccer. i would totally play soccer if i could.

I also want to learn to surf. Maybe not right now, but in a few years that'd be so awesome.

I read something about an anonymous group taking down facebook on november 5th. I hope they do, i'd be freed from the reign of my facebook. Facebook needs to be taken down now.

Ugh im bored.
